Integrated Technology | Overview
SHPS delivers integrated health solutions directly to large employers, government agencies, third-party administrators, and other plan sponsors. SHPS routinely works with some of the most sophisticated clients in the marketplace; therefore, its systems require scalability, flexibility, and modularity while supporting a person-centric delivery model. SHPS’ approach to technology is guided by three principles:
- Be a responsive service enabler to support a client’s business strategy and the evolution of that strategy rapidly and efficiently;
- Proactively evolve a service-oriented architecture that leverages shared services and drives efficiencies and cost-effectiveness; and
- Drive interoperability across systems through integration infrastructure that operates across multiple computing platforms.
The agile technology infrastructure that allows SHPS to integrate customers and services is a result of significant investments in capital, people, and process resources. It is the foundation for building repeatable processes and configuring multiple client solutions without designing separate, customized platforms. By leveraging common components for the greatest number of clients, SHPS reduces implementation time, provides greater flexibility, and ultimately delivers greater value to clients.
