SHPS honored as a 2010 Healthiest Employer finalist

– SHPS has been recognized as a finalist for the 2010 Healthiest Employers, an awards program presented by Business First of Louisville. Select employers from Louisville were honored as finalists, and winners were selected in categories grouped by number of full-time employees.
Looking for a way to educate employees on how to change health habits and help them find the time and resources to reach their personal health goals, SHPS introduced Health Happens Here earlier this year, a comprehensive, year-round wellness initiative that includes on-site wellness activities and education. The program focuses on nutrition, fitness, and stress management; areas identified by employees as a priority in order to create the healthier work environment sought by SHPS’ executive team. The same team that provides wellness services to SHPS’ clients help craft specific programs, events, and educational opportunities for Health Happens Here.
