As executive vice president, business development, Jeff Rosenblum is responsible for formulating SHPS’ business development strategy, identifying and building new business partnership opportunities, and managing existing relationships with business partners and market influencers. In this role, Mr. Rosenblum also leads Landacorp, an autonomous subsidiary within SHPS that provides medical management software to health plans and hospitals. He brings more than 20 years of healthcare and benefits administration experience to his position. His domain knowledge, keen understanding of the healthcare market and expertise are instrumental in driving SHPS’ success with business partnerships.
Prior to his current position, Mr. Rosenblum was executive vice president of sales, channel solutions, where he oversaw sales activities for SHPS’ channel partners, and senior vice president of business development for SHPS’ mid-market business unit. In these roles, he was responsible for leading the channel sales team in all business development activities with brokers, carriers, third party administrators, and preferred provider organizations.
Mr. Rosenblum previously served as president and CEO of the eBenX mid-market business unit, which SHPS acquired in 2003. Before joining eBenX, he was president and CEO of Arbor Associates – a company he founded in 1991 – that focused on benefit administration solutions for companies with 750 to 15,000 employees. Purchased by eBenX in 2000, Arbor specialized in cafeteria plan design, implementation, communication, and administration, as well as benefits administration.
Mr. Rosenblum is a graduate of Northwestern University and holds a bachelor of science degree from the School of Education. He also sits on the Employer’s Council of Flexible Compensation (ECFC) Technical Advisory Committee and is a certified instructor in flexible compensation through the ECFC.
