As chief operating officer for SHPS, Jerry Kreisler is responsible for operations, implementations, sales, client relationship management, and technical support for SHPS’ portfolio of human resources products and services.

Prior to his appointment as COO in November, 2008, Mr. Kreisler served as executive vice president, operations, responsible for operations and client services for SHPS’ spending account and total absence management, TPA, government, Medicaid, call center, fulfillment and cost management services. He oversaw planning, implementation and daily operational execution.

He joined SHPS in February 2004 as the vice president of carrier service operations and was promoted to senior vice president, government operations and service delivery, responsible for overall operations and client relationship management for SHPS’ service delivery to federal and state government clients.

Prior to joining SHPS, Mr. Kreisler was a vice president at Express Scripts, a pharmacy benefit management company. At Express Scripts, he held a variety of key positions ranging from managed care account management, to acquisition integration and corporate procurement. Additionally, he has extensive experience building and directing complex account management functions as well as leading general operations for Fortune 500 companies.

Mr. Kreisler graduated from California State University with a bachelor of arts degree in biology, and has attended a variety of post-graduate general business courses.
