David P. Haick serves as chief legal officer of SHPS, a role he assumed in February 2006 when he was appointed to the company’s executive management team. With SHPS since 1998, he previously served as vice president, general counsel, and secretary. Mr. Haick is responsible for SHPS’ day-to-day legal affairs, including compliance and risk management activities, contract administration, intellectual property protection, human resources support, litigation management, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance activities. During his tenure at SHPS, Mr. Haick has been instrumental in several corporate transactions, including the acquisitions of CareWise, Inc., eBenX, Inc., National Health Services, Inc., and Landacorp, Inc.

Prior to joining SHPS, Mr. Haick was an attorney in private practice with the law firm of Boehl Stopher & Graves in Louisville, Kentucky.

Mr. Haick is a graduate of the University of Louisville School of Law. He also holds a bachelor of business administration from the University of Kentucky with distinction in finance.
